Overview
What Solene is
Solene is a Kramiva industry launch system demonstrating premium ecommerce for design-led direct-to-consumer brands. It explores editorial product storytelling, lookbook layouts, a headless storefront over a hosted commerce backend, and a media pipeline with per-asset byte budgets. It is a self-initiated build, not commissioned client work.
- The problem
- A design-led goods brand sells a considered product through a theme that makes it look like a commodity.
- Intended users
- Premium and design-led direct-to-consumer brands.
- Status
- Solene deploys to a public subdomain with a synthetic catalogue. No real brand, product, or photography is represented.

- 03ConsiderA product page covering material, making, sizing, and care with real depth.
- 04DecideHonest delivery, returns, and provenance information before the cart, not after.
- 05BuyA short checkout on the commerce platform's proven rails.
Feature set

Architecture decisions
The page is instant for everyone; only cart and availability are dynamic.
Payments, tax, and fraud stay where they are already solved, audited, and compliant.
Merchandisers edit story and layout without touching catalogue integrity.
Customers search by intent — 'something for wet weather' — not by SKU taxonomy.
A price change invalidates precisely the affected pages instead of the whole site.

Measured results
Not measured yet.
Estimates presented as measurements are the most common lie on an agency website, and it is not one we are willing to tell.
