There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no social pixels, and no analytics cookies. Nothing here follows you to another site or builds a profile of you. That is a design decision, not an oversight.

What the site does store are two preferences you set yourself, named below. Neither identifies you, and neither is read by anyone but this website.

Two items, both of them a preference you chose, and neither of them used to identify you or to track you anywhere.

Our hosting provider works out an approximate country from your connection and passes that on to us as a two-letter country code, alongside the request itself. The site uses that code for exactly one thing: to ask whether you would prefer a regional version of the page you are on.

The code is used while the page is being served and then dropped. It is not written to a cookie, not saved in your browser, and not recorded against you — we do not store your IP address for this, no third-party location service is involved, and your browser is never asked for your location.

Only your answer is remembered, and only if you give one. Choosing a region stores that region; choosing to stay stores that you stayed. Neither writes down where you appeared to be.

Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes both. The site will then follow your operating system's light or dark preference again, and may offer the regional notice once more.

This site runs no analytics at all. There is no analytics package in the application, no tag manager, and no measurement script of any kind — a claim you can check by viewing the source of any page.

If that ever changes we will use a cookie-free product that records aggregate page views without cross-site identifiers or personal profiles, and this page will change before the code does.

Nothing on this site embeds third-party media, and no page here loads a script or a frame that could set storage on your behalf.
